Salary: From £39,739 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead a new exciting and transformative project, Lincoln Made Smarter. Funded by Lincoln Towns Deal and set in the University of Lincoln, the project aims to ensure SMEs in Lincoln City adopt advanced technologies to drive economic growth.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate they can drive business growth within SMEs. The role will require a multi-faceted approach, from developing a network of businesses targeted at CEO level to raise awareness of the benefits behind the digital transformation process; to the delivery of programmes linking companies with academic expertise, specialist support and trials of new technologies or processes.
Responsible for the overall development, design and delivery of this new project, the post holder will also deliver advisory and innovation finance support. You will line manage another member of the team recruited to this project and join a supportive environment as part of the leadership team at Research and Enterprise. A key part of the role will be to work with others to ensure you draw from the wide range of skills among our academic community to ensure the success of the programme.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent interpersonal and project management skills; have an in-depth knowledge of business management principles and demonstrate the ability to design and deliver a range of focused support to Lincoln City SMEs.
