Woolrich Pack 661 recently visited Goodwill Hose Fire Company Station 7. Cub Scouts were given a tour of the fire station, got a look at the fire apparatus, learned about the equipment and even watched a couple of the members have a little competition of getting all geared up. The Cub Scouts also got to see how a thermal imaging camera works and were taught how it can sense heat. In addition to Goodwill’s fire squad, Cub Scouts saw Goodwill Hose’s traffic unit that diverts traffic for calls and were educated on why fire police are of importance. Woolrich Pack 661 would like to thank Goodwill Hose for their dedication and time giving the scouts an amazing tour. Pack 661 plans to continue visiting various first responders in the coming months. Woolrich Pack 661 is open to boys and girls ages 5-10. For more information visit Scoutsbsatroop66.org or call Jody Groff at 570-980-4253.
